The Mary S. Biesecker Public Library has a summer reading program every year, and for the last 4 years it has included a reading incentive program for children in grades 3-6. Over those 4 years I have had many teens ask us to extend the program to them, so we are listening. This year teens in grades 7-12 are invited to participate in the summer reading incentive program.
We will be giving away books, freebie coupons, and gift cards from local, regional, and national businesses. The Grand Prize for the Teen division is a $50 Wal-Mart Gift Card. The Program starts on June 10th and ends August 5th. We will hold the prize drawings shortly after the program finishes. Instructions and program information can be picked up at the Mary S. Biesecker Public Library at any time.
Funding and donations for this program were provided by Sheetz, Eat’n Park, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Mary S. Biesecker Public Library, Anonymous donors, and individual donations. We thank all of these organizations and individuals!
